The Public Works Department is responsible for the following:

Snow Removal:  road plowing, sanding and salt, stockpiling sand

Storm Damage Repairs:  road washouts, fallen trees.

Road Construction and Maintenance:  potholes, shoulder maintenance, right of way maintenance (ditching and brush clearing), crosswalk painting.

Municipal Property Maintenance:  cemetery mowing, ball field mowing, park mowing and maintenance, town office maintenance.

Other Services:  municipal signs, storm drainage and repairs, culvert maintenance, street sweeping.
